The Story Behind My "This Shit is Hard" Greeting Card

I designed this card for a friend who had just become a new mom.

Becoming a mom is hard. Taking care of a newborn is hard. Trying to keep it all together while running on 3 hours of sleep and having your entire world changed over night is HARD.

But despite how hard it is, I wanted her to know she was doing great (even if it didn't feel like it).

But, when I wanted to drop a gift and card off at her house, I realized I didn't have any encouragement greeting cards that would work. So I designed a card that would be perfect...my "This shit is hard" greeting card.
